Privacy notice
This notice explains how Elizabeth’s Tuition Centre uses personal information when a parent or carer makes an enquiry or uses the tuition service.
Who is responsible for your information
Elizabeth’s Tuition Centre is the data controller. You can contact the centre by calling 07878 239027 or through the assessment enquiry form.
What we collect
- Parent or carer name and contact details.
- The child’s first name, year group and the subjects or support being requested.
- General availability and brief notes supplied in the enquiry.
- Further information needed to provide tuition safely and effectively, collected later through an appropriate secure process.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and arrange a free assessment.
- To recommend and provide tuition.
- To communicate about sessions, attendance and payment.
- To meet safeguarding, accounting, insurance and legal obligations.
Our lawful reasons
We use personal information where it is necessary to take steps before entering a contract, perform the tuition agreement, meet legal obligations or pursue legitimate interests such as administering and safeguarding the service. Where consent is the appropriate basis, it can be withdrawn.
Who information may be shared with
Information may be processed by trusted providers that support the website, forms, email and hosting. It may also be shared with professional advisers, insurers, safeguarding authorities or public bodies where necessary or required by law. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Enquiry information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond and manage follow-up. If a child becomes a student, relevant records are kept for the period needed to provide tuition and meet safeguarding, accounting, insurance and legal responsibilities.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal information, object to some uses, or request a copy in a portable format. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Using the assessment form
Please do not include detailed medical, safeguarding or other sensitive information in the initial form. If that information becomes relevant, Elizabeth will explain a more appropriate way to provide it.
