Terms and conditions
These terms describe the agreement between Elizabeth’s Tuition Centre and the parent or carer of a student attending tuition.
By enrolling your child, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
1. Enrolment and attendance
- A completed registration form must be submitted before a student attends sessions.
- Regular attendance is expected. Please tell the centre if your child cannot attend.
- The centre may withdraw a place where attendance is irregular or fees remain unpaid.
2. Fees and payment
- Fees are payable in arrears weekly, monthly or termly, as agreed.
- Payment must be made within the agreed timeframe.
- If payment is more than 14 days overdue, tuition may be paused until the account is settled.
- Fees are non-refundable except where the centre cancels and cannot arrange a replacement session.
3. Cancellations and missed sessions
- If a student misses a regular session, the fee remains payable.
- Where possible, an alternative session may be offered for illness or emergencies, but this cannot be guaranteed.
- If the centre cancels, a replacement session or refund will be arranged.
4. Conduct and behaviour
- Students are expected to behave respectfully towards staff and other students.
- Tuition may be withdrawn if behaviour is persistently disruptive.
- Parents and carers are responsible for prompt arrival and collection.
5. Safeguarding and welfare
- The centre follows safeguarding and child-protection procedures.
- Parents and carers must provide relevant medical, allergy or additional-needs information through the appropriate secure process.
- In an emergency, the centre will act in the child’s best interests and contact the parent or carer.
6. Liability
- The centre cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings that are lost or damaged.
- The centre is not liable for injury, accident or illness except where caused by proven negligence.
7. Data protection
- Personal information is stored securely and used to provide tuition, administer the relationship and meet legal or safeguarding obligations.
- Information is shared only where needed to provide the service, where consent has been given or where the law requires it.
- See the privacy notice for more detail.
8. Ending tuition
- Either party may end the agreement with two weeks’ written notice.
- The centre may end the agreement immediately for non-payment, safeguarding concerns or serious misconduct.
9. Changes to these terms
- The centre may update these terms with reasonable notice.
- The current version will be available on the website.
